Getting a second opinion
There are a variety of occasions, for example: required operations, special treatments, and complex diagnostic procedures, where a request for an additional, so-called second opinion is recommended or requested by the relevant parties involved.
After his training as a specialist medical consultant in ophthalmology at the Ludwig-Maximilian University in Munich, Dr. Zarth has been practicing now for approximately 25 years.
As an authorized independent subject matter expert who is independent from the Bavarian Medical Association, he has for the past 20 years provided yearly several hundred ophthalmological expert opinions for insurance companies, trade associations and for the courts.
Patients from home and abroad who want additional security in matters related to the health of their visual apparatus have come to appreciate the expertise and experience provided by Dr. Zarth.
